If you look good, you feel good?

It all begins with an idea.

Let’s Face it. CONFIDENCE IS KEY. Key to what? Positive interactions…

Your physical appearance speaks for you before you open your mouth. First impressions are lasting and your ego..

… It’s a direct correlation with how you feel and see yourself. Feeling good about yourself creates space where you can show up in a welcoming way. It influences your relationships, work, family, friends and romantic ones alike. Showing up whole and confident is the best way to show up for both strangers and the people you love most.

So, what exactly is “looking good”?

Looking good is a combination between hygiene practices, wardrobe choices, physical health, and self-tailored beauty maintenance. Understanding what looks good on you is a trial-and-error process. Try things you’ve always wanted to, get opinions from a few trusted friends and look in the mirror and find something that make you say “damn, now I look good”. For me, nothing hits as hard as a layered middle part buss down, natural glam makeup look, with a fit that accents all my favorite areas (Smile, bust and legs😉). Find what works for you and double down. Here a list of things to consider as you improve your physical appearance.

Hygiene Essentials;

A solid shower routine is essential to smelling and looking good. A good routine of body wash, lotion, body oil and a signature scent can do wonders. Next is teeth care. Brushing, flossing and rinsing with mouth wash keeps your mouth smelling fresh and clean. If you’re fancy, try a teeth whitening kit at your local drug store.

Physical Health;

Having a quality and consistent relationship with your physicians is MANDATORY. Understanding where your level of health is, is important. Seeing the essential professionals in Primary health care, Obstetrician – ‘gynecologist, Dentistry, ENT, and etc, will give you clarity on how you are maintaining your temple. Working out and Eating right is one of many ways you can show love and respect to yourself. Practicing sexual activity while utilizing safety in the emotional realm and protection in the physical to keep both your mind and body free is imperative.

Self-tailored Beauty Maintenance;

Finding and maintaining your signature look is key to your confidence. Finding a hair style that is flattering to your face. Makeup that highlights your natural beauty and a grooming routine that keeps your body hair in check is all your personal beauty needs. Take time to evaluate yourself and the monthly maintenance needs you must maintain to both look and feel your best.

Wardrobe Essential;

As a devoted lover of the monochromatic look, having a closet filled with these basic colors keeps you ready for any and everything. Black, White, Nude, Brown and Navy. Simple, sweet, and straight to the point. These colors are classic and timeless. Now, in the summer and especially on vacation don’t be afraid to subscribe to a little color. Reds, Blues, Greens and Yellows can be magical on the right skin tone. Outside of color, the seasons will also contribute to your time capsule pieces.

Now that you have the foundation, it’s time to get to work. I hope you are feeling inspired and informed. Look good to Feel Good. Feel Good to BE Good.

Thirty, Flirty and Thriving!!!

It all begins with an idea.

… More like content, blessed and a little bit stressed

Well, here’s to 30. It came a lot sooner than my 18-year-old self

would have thought. As I say goodbye to my 20s and hello to my

30s, I’ve found myself looking back on the formative years in my

life so far. My twenties were exactly what I wanted them to be.

I had the privilege of achieving almost every goal I set for myself.

I went to college and enjoyed myself to the fullest, made lifelong

acquaintances and even fell in love… twice. I traveled the world

both in and out of the country. I moved to a new state, lived in

5 different cities and moved into my own place for the first time.

I worked 10+ jobs and then found a career I love. The most

enjoyable thing about my 20s was the process of self-discovery.

There are many things that I’ve learned about myself. I learned

that I enjoyed hosting gatherings for family and friends, and

creating memories that we will never forget. I enjoy traveling to

different places and immersing myself into the culture and trying

local cuisines. I’ve also learned that I’m a matter-of-fact type of

person. I’m decisive with a Type B Personality. I enjoy my own

company and continue to explore what makes me happy. Overall,

my 20s were amazing. Looking forward to my 30s, it’s time to

think about what’s next for me. Let’s just say 30 is looking

NOTHING like what I expected but, for the opportunity to live

life, it’s a gift that I’m grateful for. Until next time…
